SXSW is always a highlight on our calendar — and with part of our team based in Austin, we love when the festival energy hits our own backyard. This year, we teamed up with Variety to produce not one, but two standout events back-to-back, bringing a fresh mix of culture, conversation, and cause-driven storytelling to the heart of the action.

First up: the YouTube Podcast Brunch, where we packed the house with fans, creators, and media insiders. The panel featured some of the most recognizable voices in the podcast space — including Hot Ones host Sean Evans — and served up hot takes alongside a brunch spread full of Austin classics (yes, there were breakfast tacos, and yes, they were a hit).

The next day, we pivoted from spicy interviews to ocean advocacy with a screening and watch party for Reef Builders, a powerful documentary spotlighting the people working to protect and restore coral reef ecosystems. Hosted at Soho House, the event leaned into natural beauty and impact — with reef-inspired floral installations, ocean-themed cocktails, and a crowd eager to connect over storytelling with purpose.

Two days, two unique experiences — and one unforgettable weekend at SXSW.
